Donate Ways To Donate Donate by post or text Your donations, no matter how big or small, mean that we can provide support to wounded, injured and sick Service personnel and their families. Whether the donation is from you personally, or is some money you've collected, we're delighted to receive it. There are a number of different ways you can get the money to us. By Post Set-up a regular donation It's simple to set up a regular donation. You decide how much and how often you would like to contribute. Complete a Regular Giving Form and return it to us by post. Make a Single Donation by cheque, or postal order. Please make your cheque or postal order payable to St John & Red Cross Defence Medical Welfare Service and send it to: DMWS, The Old Stables, Redenham Park, Redenham, Nr Andover, Hampshire, SP11 9AQ By Text Donate £5 by texting DMWS01 £5 to 70070 Donate £10 by texting DMWS01 £10 to 70070 Text donations are free and will not come out of any inclusive texts you have as part of your price plan. You simply pay the cost of your donation using your credit balance. Payroll Giving Payroll giving is a tax efficient scheme that allows you to make regular donations to us straight from your salary – and because your donation is taken out before tax, a £10 a month donation will actually only cost you £8. You can donate any amount to us and you can stop your donation whenever you like. Your employer might even choose to match your donation, increasing the value of your gift, enabling us to provide more support to wounded, injured and sick Armed Forces personnel and their families. What to do next: If your company currently offers a payroll giving scheme all you need to do is to download and complete our Payroll Giving Form and hand into your payroll department and they will do the rest. If your employer doesn’t offer a Payroll Giving scheme, please encourage them to do so – setting up the scheme is simple and cost free. More details can be found on the HRMC website.
